Thank You from The Book Lady

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported The Book Lady's first community literacy event.

This event symbolized the beginning of something meaningful for our children, our families, and our community. Seeing families come together around books, reading, creativity, and connection reminded me why this work matters.

A special thank you to Mount Hermon Baptist Church for hosting us, and to every volunteer, donor, sponsor, parent, grandparent, child, and community member who helped make the day possible.

Because of your support we were able to give away over 50 books, connect with families, and introduce future literacy programming through The Book Lady.

This is just the beginning.
